Cooking rations is vital when on exercise, operations, ten tors, D of E expeds or whether you are hiking and camping outdoors. Hot food can be vital for morale and the ability to function. Carrying water in the form of an extra water bottle, additional Nalgene or Tritan bottle, flask or Camelbak is essential for that extra brew, cooking, drinking and washing.
