LOWA offer multiple types of boot fittings within their professional range. These include a men’s fit, a women’s fit, and a wide fit for both. Rather than relying on a one-shape-fits-all approach, LOWA manufacture boots around a series of carefully selected lasts. The last is a foot shaped mould which is used in the manufacturing process. By changing the last, you can alter several of the boot’s features. For women’s fitting lasts, these features consist of a higher arch, a wider forefoot and a narrower heel, which gives a better fit for the natural contours of the female foot.
