Modular Lightweight Load-carrying Equipment, or MOLLE is part of the current generation of load-bearing equipment that includes pouches, daysacks, webbing and bergens used by most NATO armed forces. These include the British Army and the United States Army.

MOLLE uses a system called the Pouch Attachment Ladder System (PALS) for the attachment of various compatible pouches and accessories to your webbing, daysack or Bergen. PALS is a system of rows of heavy-duty nylon stitched onto equipment. This method of attachment has become a de facto standard for modular military equipment.
